The Diploma III Program in Graphic Engineering is an active program at the State Polytechnic of Creative Media, with the program code 90444. Established on October 8, 2008, the program operates under the license number 4628/D/T/K-N/2010, issued on December 1, 2010.
The program was established in line with the vision of the State Polytechnic of Creative Media to contribute to the development of human resources in the creative industry. The curriculum is based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti), with a focus on production and entrepreneurship competencies.
The production competency refers to courses designed to equip students with the skills and expertise needed to become associate experts capable of designing, editing prints, and mastering the pre-printing, printing, and post-printing processes, both conventionally and digitally.
Graduates of the Diploma III Program in Graphic Engineering are expected to work in state-owned or private printing companies, paper companies, ink companies, book and magazine publishers, packaging printing companies, advertising industries, public relations in printing companies, or as mid-level designers/illustrators.
As for the entrepreneurship competency, students are equipped with entrepreneurial skills so they can competently manage businesses in the printing and publishing sectors. These production and entrepreneurship competencies are distinctive features of vocational education at the State Polytechnic of Creative Media.
